The story
Two years, when I was fortunate enough to catch my big koi (check this story) the day of Halloween, I decided to go back to this venue once a year, the day of Halloween, of course. Last year brought me a common carp, amazingly dark. So what happened this year? I thought you'd never ask (er, sorry, Horacitis syndrom!)...
Corey pre-baited on Sun and Mon, and I added more bait yesterday evening. We both took the day off today to try our chance. Now, something you have to know is that Corey never landed a fish from this difficult venue, which hosts multiple kois and a few commons, but very few fish overall. So you can guess how pleased we were when he got this run, which translated into this amazingly beautiful fish!
No, it wasn't as big as this first picture might lead to think

, probably 10 pounds or so, but the colors of this fish were just so stunning!
Back to the water, get bigger for next year, beautiful!
What happened next? Well, ducks really enjoyed my bait, we had a great weather, but this was the end of it... It was well worth it, though! We'll be back next year!
